Following the concert, a giant bonfire brought warmth to the cool night as Julie relaxed into the wee hours, exchanging songs and stories, with other Waterfall visitors.

Sue and her St Bernard, Brannigan, made everyone feel welcome. Brannigan is considered the 'small' dog at the Waterfall and Biggles is his big pal.

Julie Felix Surprises Oxford by Joining Donovan On Stage
More at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/oxford/music/2005/06/donovan.shtml
The packed house at Donovan's Beat Café concert in Oxford, 9 June 2005, got a surprise when Julie Felix appeared, unannounced and unadvertised, to sing Universal Soldier on stage with Donovan.

The audience response was more than enthusiastic as Julie's soaring harmonies took the song's lyrical and timely message to new heights.

Later in the evening, Julie appeared again to delight all with her unique addition to the Donovan classic Colours.

The two troubadours seemed perfectly at home in each other's company and, so it should be, as they have a friendship and working relationship that spans decades.

With voices so well suited for dueting, let us hope for more opportunities to see Julie and Donovan perform together. Having said that....Watch this space!
